I continued my student teaching and credential/masters program in the Stanford Teacher Education Program (STEP). My time was split between the classroom…
… and the streets.
I joined millions around the world demanding a ceasefire and end of Israeli apartheid in occupied Palestine.
At the rallies, Washington HS and organizing meetings I met someone with a shared passion for liberation, and we fell in love.
My STEP course load finally lightened up and I had some room to think and play.
I started a blog reflecting on my teaching and the ongoing struggle for liberation in Palestine…
…and filmed a skate video with some friends from STEP.
In June, I graduated with a Masters in Education from Stanford University,
spent some time in the mountains,
attended the Ekklesia Project gathering on climate grief and saw Patti present her howl,
and taught a Church School Class on confronting Christian Zionism.
I started my first full year teaching at June Jordan School for Equity and supported our students and staff as we fought off closure.
Teaching is hard, but I continue to learn immensely from the students and other teachers at my site.

Indecent Theology takes liberation theology to task from a queer decolonial perspective.
The Will to Change helped me rethink what I thought I knew about patriarchy and love.
Arcane. So good you might try league of legends.
The Dragon Prince. Made by some of the team behind Avatar. Got bad and then really good again.
Valorant. The game that finally filled the hole TF2 left.
Outer Wilds. The thrill of emotional discovery in space. Don’t look up anything about it, just play it.
May the Christ who was born to those crushed under empire be with you and give you hope.
